Yes I do believe in true love. I know this couple where the husband just passed away two weeks ago. They were married 65 years and were very much in love. I see her and she is heart broken and misses her husband so much. They called each other sweetheart. And didn't care who heard them tell one another "I love you!" My own grandparents were married 63 years when first grandpa the followed 3 months later by grandma who just grieved herself to death without her man. My grandparents called each other MY man and My woman. Yes true love happens but people today are to quick to give up and divorce. There are many up's and down's a couple must share in the good times and the bad. Very few people live by their marriage vow's anymore and it takes commitment.

No, I don't believe in true love with another person I didn't give birth to. I tend to be realistic about this since I have been married almost 30 years. Although I love him, I don't think of my husband as my true love. He is the person who shares the daily responsibilities with me and we are faithful to each other. My children on the other hand are my real true loves. That is a deep, personal type of love that cannot compare to anything else in the world.

The short answer is "yes". :) But true love is not "exclusive" in my opinion. I mean that I don't think that everyone has just one "true love" in his or her life; I think there can be many (but never at the same time!). What makes a love "true" is when it is based on trust and respect and joy and a profound caring for the other person's well-being (perhaps even more than your own).

And yes, I've found it. :)

Yes, true love does exist. I found true love several years ago, but messed up, and we went our own ways...We were both sad for many years... Even though I'm married now, I still think about my true love....and, she is lost forever...
Everybody has a true love out there, just search and you will find....

Yes, I do. I also believe that I have found him. I met my hubby in HS and dated all four years. We were married the latter half of our sr. year, it has been almost 17 years. We have 3 wonderful children, and still find time for each other. He still does little things to make my heart race as a teenager's would, and we still say I love you and hold hands, kiss, and spend hours talking about everything. He is a wonderful man, and does all he can for me.

I must say I believe in true love. It finds you when you do not want it to. I was married when true love found me. Two years ago. I left my hubby and am now dating true love. You know when it happens.

How can you believe is something that you can't even define? What is love? Let alone true love.

Love is a word that was invented to glorify a basic human need; copulation, breeding and companionship.

When two people are in for the long haul, they don't base their life on paper thin undefinable love. They base it on trust, contentment, friendship, respect, etc.

So to all you out there who are still slumbering in the dreams of love, wake up and smell the coffee.

Good Luck!
