to vote for someone who has top contributor tag because you feel you should give someone else a chance? Even though you feel the top contributor has given you the best answer?

I've been feeling that way when trying to choose best answers today....it's bothering me, because the best answer is simply the best....doesn't matter who it comes from to me and never has. Now I feel somewhat obligated to give the answer to someone who doesn't have this silly orange tag, and that's not fair to anyone at all...

top contributor is a new subject matter since i last answered questions so i guess it would depend on who selects that and if points is awarded for it

No, not at all. I give the best answer to anyone that I feel gave the right answer or the funniest answer.
