I'm heading out to Seattle for a week in early April, staying in the Queen Anne neighborhood. I've already got some touristy things to do during the day (*1) and some restaurants to check out (*2).

What I'm looking for is a little something that I can't find in Fodors or Lonely Planet. Things like a great micro brew-pub that features your favorite stout/ porter, or that restaurant with live piano.

Thanks!

1. Seattle harbor cruise, Whale watching cruise, Science Center, EMP, Pikes Market, Needle, Aquarium

2. 10 Mercer, Pecos Kitchen, Hilltop Ale House, Ototo Sushi, Fox Sports Grill, Il Bistro, Macrina Bakery, Two Bells.

large recommendations by technique of different posters, so gained't reproduction. I 2d the concept that a million day of bumbershoot is sufficient. %. faster or later the position the bands you want to make certain are playing. gas Works Park is sweet on the Burke-Gilman on the north aspect of Lake Union, so that could be park of a bicycle holiday. Greenlake is likewise a good position to journey motorcycles and carry close out, see you later because the elements continues to be reliable. SAM is reliable, yet may favor to visit the Boeing Museum of Flight, it truly is unique to this section and is truly interesting. it truly is south of downtown only off the 5. MOHAI (Museum of historic previous and market) is close to the UW campus. It in reality takes an hour or so. you could also lease a canoe at UW to paddle around the arboretum and lower than the 520. Pike position market also has some reliable bookstores, fantastically down on the 2d floor. Mister E books is one among my faves. do not omit the flying fish suitable out the front and suitable for the time of from it truly is a good bakery, i continuously get a marvelous creampuff and canoli there. M's activity, be particular to flow the three hundred aspect on the third base aspect to lookout landing. large view of the Sound and the city, and massive sunsets contained in the summer season

excuse me, first guy. We are the home of Starbucks that most of you drink, the Microsoft that you depend on, the planes that you fly on, and punk rock and Jimi Hendix . I don't know about the alcohol part, but don't miss the science center (it's not as boring as it sounds) and the EMP (experience music project) Honestly, the Space Needle is not so fun, just a starbucks at the top, the Pike Place Market is okay if you have time to waste on browsing cutesy stuff. and No, it's not *always* raining haha!

You have a fairly decent list to start with...

The Seattle Waterfront is always great; the aquarium, The Olde Curiosity Shop, etc. Alki Beach in West Seattle is always a highlight, as is Lincoln Park.

Here are a couple of other ideas listed below.

Enjoy Seattle! Lots and lots of parks to see.
