By the fact that Gladiator died in his movie--and Conan Didn't; It would be a match-up of Conan the Living VS the Dead rotting Gladiator. I would say by the fact that only one character is alive--Conan would win.

It would be an unfair fight. Conan is from a world where magic is commonplace. Maximus is not so he would be defeated instantly regardless of his skills and speed.
