Don't be depressed mommy! Congrats on the new little baby!!!!

It takes a few days for your "milk to come". I think they say 2-3 days. Sometimes it might take even another day or say. I hear your boobs get huge when the milk comes LOL. I'm 32 weeks now and this was the info from my breastfeeding class.

LOL! Well first im glad you have decided to breast feed, its the best! Dont worry...it will come in, i promise, just make sure you have ur baby at the breast as much as you possible can even though he/she will only get colostrom out of it at first. But its very important that ur baby starts calling down the milk. For me, it came in 2 days. But like i said, i had her at the breast as much as possible, you'll probably wake up tomorrow and look like u had a boob job! LOL!

You may not produce any, but if I were you I think I would be asking my nurse. If you are already home then call your OB tomorrow, I know they will be closed but someone will be on call and you can ask them, and they will be able to help you out. Also be sure to tell them that you are a little bit down and out/depressed about it. Good luck and congratulations on the new baby!!!!!

Congratulations on the baby. I think that you will have colostrom for a couple of days, then the milk will come in, dont worry it will come. I cant believe that you have time to be on here. Wow

mine took a few days too. don't worry, it'll soon come in. and when it does... OMG! you may need to take some warm showers to relieve some of the engorgement. mine were so swollen looking (like water balloons ready to pop) that it hurt to put my arms down by my side. hope you don't have to go thru that, but be prepared.

good luck and CONGRATS!!
