No, global warming cannot cause earthquakes. It is remotely possible that after the complete melting of the polar ice caps the water pressure on land not previously submerged could cause compaction and subsidence, but that's in the far distant future at the rate of warming we are experiencing.

Please read the answer I gave it to another friend for his geography question. I have given the methods for prediction. But it is not fool proof method.
