hey me too!!!! I would love to have a coffee shop place thats similar to Starbucks and also Central Perk from "Friends"
There would be live music there sometimes and people would just hang out there and drink coffee.....

No, not anymore. I owned my own business and it sucked.
I had a travel agency about 7 years ago. That's when the airline started trying to run all travel agents out of business. They took away commissions, wanted you to book on the internet, their prices changed hourly.
People blamed me because at 2pm when they called the price was $200 and when they called at 3 pm the price was $250. It wasn't me, it was the sorry airlines.
I had too many different employees because you couldn't trust them or count on them to be there on time or when needed.
I would never own my own business again. I would rather be an employee because these days you can never count on anyone.
If you are only an employee, you don't have to take the heat for what goes wrong. If I screw something up, my boss takes the heat not me.
I got so sick of being griped out for what my employees did or said. In my opinion owning your own business is not what it is cracked up to be.

I own a construction company, you never get any time off. A cafe' you will have to live the business, I understand you don't make much money in the restaurant business, unless you sell liquor, but you have to live the business. It's more an ambiance thing. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law owned a quaint little restaurant in Austin, Texas, it ended up costing them their marriage. Good Luck

definitely. I won;t have to be under the beck and call of the boss and be my own boss. I will like to open a seaside cafe !
