I ask myself that daily, to keep a reality check. I'm getting older and I want to believe that what I'm about is getting better...which would be to help more people. the things that really count. By now, I at least know what counts, like: adopting some elderly people in nursing homes and do for them what they really need...like reading or rubbing their dried arms and legs with lotion, pushing them around to see the world and other people. LISTENING to them talk about whatever they want to talk about. And not rushing them.

At the other end of the spectrum, I'm a retired reading specialist and have spent a lot of my career teaching little children to read. Now I want to search and and find the children who can't read and can't afford an expensive teacher. Or a cheap teacher. Teach them to love reading, give them books and a new way to look at life. But what I'm about before any of that...I've been ill with flus and bronchitis and strep for months (after poor immune systerm after breast cancer and chemo) , and I'm allergic to anti-biotics. But I never believe in giving up. I've ordered the book, the DVD and the CDs of "The Secret." I must get positive thinking in my life, improve myself, before I can help other people. Thanks for a thought-provoking question.

Read my little write up on myself. That probably would give you some idea of who and what I am. I am sociable in a number of different ways. I like formal, informal settings, I feel comfortable in my own skin, I've been on many different roller coasters & with the up's and down's have come to a point of satisfaction in my life. I am content, reasonably happy, have little to complain of, & I look forward to the next sunrise with confidence.

Well, I still do not fully know the answer to that one! One day, I think I am one way and then the next day, something usually happens that throws me for a loop! Overall, I try to be a good person that does right though!

I am sad. People think I am happy and have so much going for myself but I am depressed and wear a happy mask. I think I do a good job and few people see the sad in my eyes.

"Why..what..how..when..where?"...............that's me. I have this absolute need to know all I can absorb in this lifetime, even the things I KNOW that I don't really want to know. I still work at it until I know! The real me wants to comprehend all knowledge that my brain comes into contact with.
