Yes and no.... There are two possibilities to think of. Either right now is a turning point in society where corruption and treason is as its highest, and we definitely need to do something about it. More realistically, this has been happening for hundreds, but there was some thing in either government or society in which shed light on this topic for once. We are a capitalist society, and money is always a factor, and I can guarantee that money is involved some how in these recent events. I still think that this has been going on for hundreds of years, since governments inception, and the only reason it is getting attention right now is because the media is running out of stuff to talk about.
