In the present conditions and their team performance i think it is South Africa who is going to the home. Infact South Africa has been my favourites from 1996(when they came to India for Titan Cup, though they lost the final match to India they palyed well through out the innings). The years 1999 n 2003 have been unlucky for them as they failed to qualify only because of some bad luck. but this time they are prepared for everything. how can we forget their 439 runs against the Australians( which is not a weak team like Kenya). They are a truely deserving team for it.

South Africa, New Zeland and India have a good chance of winning yhe world cup. But Pakistan, Australia, Sri Lanka and the West Indese are also not far behind
Ofcorse India is my favourite.

The Aussies or South Africa are the most likely to hold the cup. However, my favourite team is India.

Definitely India !!!!! The Semi-finals will be a keenly contested match , the first semifinal being - India vs Southafrica- ofcourse India wins in the final over off the last ball six off Pollock by Dhoni.
In the second Semifinal, it will be a onse sided one between Srilanka and Australia - Australia win in the 32nd over by 8 wickets with Gilchrist hitting the winning four off Muralidharan.
The final Australia set India a target of 340 to win ( Gilchrist 177, Ponting 138). India open with Sehwag and Ganguly achieve the target in the 49th over with 2 balls to spare. Ganguly 132( 118 balls, 5 sixes, 16 fours), Tendulkar 148( 146 balls, 2 sixes,18 fours), Dhoni 77 (29 balls, 6 sixes, 7 fours). Man of Match - Tendulkar (148 runs, 2 wickets), Man of Worldcup - Bowler- Muralidharan 27 wickets, Batsman- Tendulkar 537 runs, 3 centuries, Most sixes- Gilchrist 14 sixes, Most dismissals - Dhoni ( 13 catches, 6 stumpings)

This world cup is going to be won either by the SOUTH AFRICA or NEW ZEALAND whether there performance is not upto mark but this was like an alarm bell for them for there preparedness for world cup or they didn't want to show there power to other teams
