The music. Easy to dance too
The language. Gag me with a spoon. Like totally awesome.
The fashion. Leg warmers and neon colors.

I can't single one out, there's just a list of them. well.. maybe i got the biggest kick from the toys r' us visits!
- cartoons and toys
- toys r' us & the aisles for bmx bikes, gijoe, board games, video games
- atari, nintendo, sega
- WWF wrestling
- Saturday matinee kung-fu
- billy joel, michael jackson, madonna, cindy lauper
- field trips to the metropolitan museum of art (and supplementary orders at Blimpie)
- forbidden planet & roger's comics - the only comic book shops i knew existed. most comics were sold in newstands.
- trapper keepers, scratch n sniffs, garbage pail kids cards, schoolyard joust, dodgeball
- different strokes, family ties, hogan family, what's happenin, intro to chips, twilight zone, amazing stories, tales from the darkside
- ronald reagan, gorbie, and Rocky IV
- snow days (gaurantee that i wouldn't see my 4th grade teacher's car in the parking lot!)
