So. Think you know what love really is? In many cases, people say they are in love when truly they are lustful. Others claim to be in love, yet would easily retract that statement for personal gain. What's love? Have YOU ever been in love, and did/ do you really, absolutely, 100% know it was love?

People have been asking, so I'll tell you that I am nearly 19. I am not asking for my own personal curiosity as much as seeing different thoughts about Love. I have thought that I was in love before. At one point there was a solid 2 months of me not having my mind off my ex (then gf), doing everything with her, and jsut feeling great. But when I look back, I still ask, "Was that Love?" I believe that if I need to ask myself that question, then it is unlikely that I was ever in love.

this is a really hard question.. In the beginning of a relationship their is the whoo who nothing could be better love. Then time rolls on and people start to become complacent and the whoa factor start to die off. To find the right person with all the qualities you want is a fairytale.. no one is that perfect.

The word has been butchered too many times to be given proper definition. But, for philosophies sake, I am afraid I have to give it up to, "Serve others to better serve yourself." Whether we like to admit it or not, what we are mostly in love with is what the person can do for us. Love is about the id/self. Someone that you "love" dieing puts it into perspective. People at the funeral are not crying because the person is in pain, but rather because they will no longer have that person around.

Yes, I am in love with my boyfriend of almost 4 years, our anniversary is on march 14th. It is not just lust, although the lust is present love is also and love overpowers anything. I have known him for 9 years and been together for 4 and the love grows stronger everyday. The love is unconditional and I would do anything for him. He is truly an amazing person and I'd be a fool to let him go.

Love means different things to different people so if a person feels love and is happy with someone and the other person is also happy, it's all good and both should feel blessed.

I'm 24 thought I was in love at one time even got married, after dating for a year. Sadly I wasn't in love, still don't know what love is, going through a divorce, and I'm tired of looking for love.

I dont think love can be explained just by words. its a complex feeling. its knowing everything about someone and loving it all, loving how they know exactly how to push your buttons, loving those little things they do that are annoying. loving them even though they are far from perfect.
i think im in love right now, but since i have nothing to compare it to, i cant say im 100% sure.
