what color should i paint my room's walls?

i am a 13 y.o. boy and i need some ideas 4 wall colors for my room. i want a laid back color, and remember: I'M 13 YEARS OLD AND I'M A BOY. thx

Well, I think some good colors are like a sage green, which is like a really cool green color, sort of like a nature type feel. Also, a really awesome color that you can never go wrong with and will always keep you in a good mood, is a blue of some sort. Like maybe a sapphire type blue(a really deep blue)! Go with what feels right and maybe add some cool posters that reflect your personality and maybe get a cool, oversized print of the globe or a world map! Those look sweet and add style to a room! Another cool thing to do would be to get a poster of the earth or planets! Also, sports figures or musicians or celebrities you like! I know you only asked for paint color suggestions, I just thought I would throw those other ideas in, as I have 3 kids, 2 boys and one daughter! They are all near your age! Have fun!

I did my sons furnature with a hazy sage green color with cornflower blue. Perhaps with walls get the lightest shade possible of either color and do the trim the a darker shade of the other color
the green and blue added inspiration. both colors are pleasing.

that is such a subjective question . I suggest all black with white stars on the ceilings and walls, or paint one wall with chalk board paint and write and draw on your walls, or use a neutral color like off white, or use as many colors as you can, and paint a mural or a random design.

Earthtones (browns, greens, blues). Do three walls one colour and the fourth another. Don't go to dark if you don't have but one little window in the room.

Funny you asked this question as I have my 12 year old nephew with me right now and he says that if he had his way his room would be black and yellow. That is two walls black with yellow thunderbolts and two walls yellow with black thunderbolts. Go figure!!! I would hate this but if he likes it then I would probably let him do it. Chocolate brown with white trim looks good if your room has more than 1 window. Looks good with med/lt blue/beige comforter and accessories.

light blues and greens are nice. they keep the room looking bright and bigger then dark colours and you wont hate it when your 18.
