The confederate Flag is not speech. That flag represents the United States greatest enemy. Even the USSR was never able to split the States into two. That flag belongs in the garbage along with all the other losers in history that fought for it.

td f.y.i.many of us feel the damned communist N.A.A.C.P. should be burned, but you A,H, have cried so much in the last 60 years the Zionist owned Gov, has gave into you, on just about every thing you have cried for . you didn't win it you cried and the Zionist has begged for you,
the Confererate flag is our heritage here in the south, we fought for our civil rigths and lost , not to the yankees but to the thousands of immigrants the north brought in and they only out numbered the south about 10 to 1 and the south did not have the manufacturing capicity the north had or we would have beaten them any how, only about 5% of the northern ctizens fought in the war but almost 90 %of the southern guys fought, an only about 3%of the southern people could aford a slave as they had a hard enough time trying to feed their own families.so don';t come up with this B,S, the war was over slavery, as the north hung a l ot more blacks thatn the south did , have you not seen the new;s papers in N,Y, where there was a black hung from almost every light pole, when Lincoln started the draft?
I don't view the confederate flag as a symbol of slavery or know anyone else that doe's as we view it as a honor tothe men who were brave enough to fight against overwhelming odds for freedom, and remember Lincolns speech where he said to the south quote:" you can keep your slaves, but youcan not succeed from the union" so how can youignorant A. H, say the civil war was over slavery?? how ever most of the blacks should still be in the cotton fields , and not on welfare. the nation would be one hell of a lot better off,

Yes, the Confederate Flag is protected by the 1st amendment. It's one of the unfortunate results of Freedom of Sppech, some times you have to bear with opinions you'd rather not have expressed.

Yes, I hate the flag presonally, but its not the goverments right to enfringe on the freedom of expression. Freedom of Speech is a human right, and it to ban the flag would enfringe on that right. I perfer the flag never be seen again, but from a consituional standpoint you cant ban the flag.

Absolutely. You can fly it, wear it, make a tablecloth out of it, paint the roof of your car like it - and I can burn it.
