I downloaded a movie torrent, planning to rip it to dvd for some friends and I to watch... however it only seems to work in a DVIX player :|
Help... me and 10 girlfreinds cannot sit around my tiny computer screen with popcorn!
How can I rip this so it plays on my dvd player or playstation!!!!
Step by step instructions very very important!

As long as you have divx codec you should be able to burn it to dvd using nero. Use the create dvd movie option. Import your file. create a menu then burn away. Can take a few hours if you dont have a fast pc.

you will need a divx to dvd converter program, i use the one in roxio. or just do a search for a free one.
When downloading torrents, you need to check the type of file you are downloading to make sure you can use them. usually the dvd files or iso files are bigger, typically 4 gb or so.
