Im looking for lock that is good at preventing locking tapping for my house. any suggestion of makes, models and where can I get them? thanks!

Ask a locksmith directly. Don't bother asking someone at a hardware store. The locksmith will likely have been hired to get around just about every type of lock out there so they could tell you which is the toughest.

I would be careful asking at Home Depot. I read an article about certain locks that they couldn't do that to and I have promptly forgotten. Can't they be looked up on the internet? All I remember is that they were the more expensive locks.. .

Slage or Quick-Set brands have kits that include a dead-bolt and a locking door knob kit together. Both a little on the pricey side, but bood stuff.

Most brand dead bolt locks work just fine and are hard to defeat. Try Sears
