women. they have a preconceived idea from childhood that marriage equals princess or automatic happiness. i think women also want the security of a marriage & to have a significant other. pretty ironic since marriage these days doesn't define those things for the majority, & ends in divorce.

I'd say its a toss up these days! Guys aren't afraid of being alone but of looking like they are. Women are more concerned about getting a guy than whats most important. Is the guy able to take care of himself let alone a family! I think finances plays a big part because on the average it takes to to afford a house and a relationship. Because if it isn't equal tboth parties end up wondering off!!

Personally, I don't believe in it, but I would say that the Females are the ones who want to get married more. I think they are groomed that way, white wedding with all the trimmings etc. The stuff fairy tales are made of. I'd rather spend my money on something else.

i would say women are, but that would be wrong. because i think girls in general like the idea of a pretty dress, flowers, and all the things that go along with a wedding.
i think it varies by individual, not by sex.
i know plenty of both who want to marry, and who dont want to marry. and in all honesty, i know more women than men who wish to not get married.

I think women are generally more eager to marry early on, but as men mature both men and women want to marry at about an equal rate.

Prbly women, they imagine their wedding day as little girls and are more anxious to get married and start a family.

Women do. They have their husbands, kids and way of life planned out before they hit their teens.

Well, most will answer women, but I don't agree. It's my love that wants a wedding, but even then it's for his family not us. Oh well, it's not like it'll change anything.

I say this is a silly question.

You can't generalize something like that to sexes.
