Oh yeah. He loves playing defense and getting rebounds. His offensive game grew better EACH WEEK this season. Just look at him use his left hand now! He said that he couldn't use it even for lay-ups in high school. His character, intelligence, self-awareness, humility, support system (family) and "realness" are just great. He is not Kwame Brown.
He's a 7 footer who likes playing center the REAL way!! He understand that he can dominate a game through his defense and rebounding even if he only scores like 8 points.
I'm so tired of 6'10" and 6'11" kids trying to play small forward. Sure, Oden, Dirk, KG (kind of) and Rashard Lewis can pull it off but most can't. They, like Oden, should focus on becoming a real center.

i think of if Oden ought to easily make a contribution 12 factors and say, 12 rebounds a pastime, they may be interior the west very final. Beasley isn't a kind one determination for any NBA team, and he's slightly a nutjob. i do no longer see him having a protracted occupation. interior the East, the Knicks may be a playoff team, yet David Lee and Amare are especially on the element of an identical participant so i do no longer even understand if the knicks have been given from now on effective.. Tmac is barely 30...he ought to have 3 or 4 seasons left in him, it would be super to verify him turn it up.

This guy is a special mature player. He is the next big man in the NBA. Oden is not fully healthy but he still dominates opponents. I see him winning many rings and eventually getting into the hall of fame.

Maybe maybe not, its hard to say how he'll develope offensively. We haven't even seen him yet with full use of his right hand, or in game shape really (due to his rushed recovery from surgery) At the worst he will be the best defensive player in the league for a long time. One handed he has a better offensive game than Dikembe ever did, so the worst case scenerio is he's somewhere between Dikembe Mutumbo and Alonzo Mourning which is pretty damn good
