It is not bad to work in the same concern for 7 years. It is common that some employees stay in the same concern for 25 years or even more. It depends on various factors like:
1. Work satisfaction
2. Growth
3. Learning Experience
4. Opportunity Cost (Most Important before assessing to change)
Opportunity cost in economics is the cost involved in missing the second best opportunity. Likewise, if you had stayed in the same concern, check out what all you might have missed (like lucrative job offers, trips, knowledge, etc.). Also analyse the factors that had kept you in the same job. If the factors for the job are much better than the factors against the job, it is good for you and the concern.

If you love the job, are happy with your pay and everythings fine then no, its not bad.
However you won't have gained much skill. Retailers differ in their operational standards, and as you have been with only one for so long you would find it harder to adapt. I don't mean things like learning new tills, etc... I mean the culture of retailers can radically differ from one xtreme to another. Some are fast paced and entreprenuerial, others are slow and boring.
Also, your pay will be much lower by staying with one retailer for that length of time, as you will have just had standard pay rises. If you look at some similar job ads you'll start to see what the real market rate for the job your doing is.
good luck

Just check in on why you've chosen to stay so long.

If you stay there because it feels right, then it is wonderful. If you stay there out of fear of getting a new job, then look into that fear and see if it is really as scary as you imagine.

In India these days so many people are chasing the cash jumping from job to job that many employers are fearful of hiring this type of employee.

I would not I hire a job hopper as I'd expect that he would hop away from me in 6 months or a year.

So, by not jumping around, you have an added value to future employers who want to train someone to do a job for many years to come.

And, many people's personalities are better suited to loyalty to job and employer.

It is not that how many years you worked, it is just that are you liking the job and getting recognition to the work ? as long as you like what you are doing and others take notice of that, keep working unmindful of the years that go by !
