how do i make my own pictures like the ones that go in the extended layouts (ex .quotes or sayings) is there anything i can download for free?

Most people use Photoshop to create their graphics (http://www.adobe.com/photoshop ) but a free, open-source alternative can be downloaded at http://www.gimp.org/ - it's not as sophisticated or easy to use as Photoshop, but it is free and it's pretty decent.

Right Right, as he said above. I personally use Adobe Photoshop CS2 to make mines. I've heard a bit about GIMP, but it's obviously not as good as Photoshop. As far as putting the graphics together, you can do it with generators obviously, unless you know how to code them by hand. Sites like http://www.gotomylayouts.com have Layout Editor's and tutorials on how you can make some. Good luck.
