A little pop to the mouth made me think about what was coming out of it.

My dad beat the crap out of us. All mother had to do is tell us that she was telling dad. As a parent, I very rarely laid a hand on my child. Fear shouldn't always be used as a disciplinarian method. The last time he beat me, I was 16. I had bruises for weeks and failed PE because I wouldn't dress out. The teacher thought that I was being rebellious........

I was never stupid enough to get them mad enough by disrespecting them so usually it be somethin small that I did and I'd get grounded from just about everything for a ridiculous amount of time

I was born to an anarchist who had lots of practice with her three older children. She did not give me a chance to learn disrespect.

Spanked or smacked if I was REALLY bad. They just had to do it once in a while and then just threaten me if I started acting up. They would give me the old "I'm gonna count to three" thing all the time.

my dad would yell at me, but whats worse is my mom gets upset and looks sad, and thats what i cant stand, i made someone, my own mom, sad, almost teary-eyed *sniff* that breaks my heart worse than someone yelling a t me. Cause someone yelling at me, would register in me that they wronged, not me, but if they get sad, then i KNOW that i wronged, and i feel so ashamed.

my mom never hit me ever, my dad hit me once when i was little, only cause all my parents friends believe in corporal punishment, and they encouraged them to spank me if i was bad. Thats why Ive always hated my parents friends.

When I was young I was spanked. When I was in my teen years my mother would send me outside to the park, or any fresh air. I was a bookworm and introvert and she knew that sending me outside was worse than anything.

soap in the mouth, smacked with a belt to butt, hand or paddle. Old school style instead of todays time outs. (the spankings really messed me up).
