I have no idea but they should.... however this kind of awards aren't always that important nor fair, so I don't think they loose their sleep for that... just read neil's peart lyrics and you will realise he's over all that. Love the band, waiting for the new album!

far too many groups are not in there, its just popularity show and doestn really matter does it, if you like them, 2112 is a classic piece of work, its freaking astounding! and all the worlds a stage, the first one is also amazing as is moving pictures and presto, just to name a few. rush rocks, screw the critics. also KISS isn't in the RRHoF, dotn care what anyone thinks of thier music, the HoF is SUPPOSED to be about bands that had a notable impact on the music scene and NOONE can deny that KISS did that, and RUSH

There a lot of good bands that are not in it. And some that should not be in it.I read that Rap Crap noise was going to added to the Hall of fame.What's that garbage got to do with Rock n Roll??

Because no one cares about them outside of the States & Canada, they're less important than Styx or Lynyrd Skynyrd and any other mullet band.
