It is your friend's decision, and not up to you. If she is under 18 though, and you are really concerned, then you might want to step forward and tell her parents what she is considering. If she is over 18, then it is completely her business :-(.
X will likely cause some damage with a one time use, but not enough threaten her life or abilities. The chances of something really bad happening are quite frankly pretty low, but there is always a chance that she could get something bad that hurts her. What you hear in the media is almost always an exaggeration and with false consequences (with one time use). She needs to learn her lesson for herself.
It will only be a problem if she wants to do it more than once - because it DOES make people retarded with repeated use...

Well in some cases it can kill you. MDMA can have alot of effct on the body. There is a very large list as a matter of fact. I gave you a few links to check out as well as try a search for MDMA, which is also known as ecstasy. I have taken it and it does have some good and some bad effects. But that was years ago and I have better things to do. Please check the links and read up on this before trying. It may save your friends life.

the drug is made by people who have no standard of quality control at all . this makes each dose be as illregular as it could be.
the drug causes the release of domapine a brain chemical .
other chemicals in the brain also are altered.
this drug causes a feeling of pleasure and happy thoughts.
there is some thought of using it in medical treatments but that is many many years away and i am sure would involve many changes in its make up.
the problem with the drug is that is causes the loss of a noticable amount of functional brain matter. that means it kills part of the brain every time it is used,.
the drug also results in the person not having anywhere near enough control of there thoughts to be able to manage themself safely.
this drug can also because of its non professional manufactoring process result in changes to the vital signs of the person and can certainly cause death.
instead of using that drug a person could do something like jump from a plane or other thrill seeking activty as the general discription of the feelings are similar as are the results of mri exams in both states.
ask your friend if she would trust you to do brain surgery on her . it is about the same thing you could have a few weeks to study up on the procedure then do it . same skill level as some of the makers of the drug have . that is how much sense there is in putting your trust in illegally made drugs.

Firstly, all you can do is warn your friend, its her choice and NOT your responsiblity if she decides to try it. She has her own mind and must be responsible for her own life. I hope she appreciates that you care enough to warn her. Like any drug of that class, it will do damage to the major organs, fry your brain cells and generally make a very negative change.

Let her know that it's one of those drugs that can actually kill you the first time you use it. She might say, "well, many people have lived after using it!" Respond with, "you never hear from the people who have died. They'd advise you to live without that experience."

people say it makes you happy.
it doesn't it actually makes your body ache and feel bad and you experience a lot of memory loss.
the pain and memory loss is so much you seem "happy" or more upright. you are also not yourself and your eyes turn really white/bright
i've been around people who took it. i never taken it.

it basically sucks the life out of you. the reason it kills most people is because their body is allergic to Ex. the body is not used to it. and the brian usually melts. you can die.
