I'll make it simpler this time so people won't go off topic...

Choose A or B

A) If we lose in Iraq the republicans will gain more power in the federal and state government
B) If we lose in Iraq the democrats will gain more power in the federal and state government

You just need to answer A or B... no reason for apologetics... just A or B

I guess people still can't follow directions. Anyone who has taken even a high school level of political science could answer this question.

There is nothing wrong with the question, and the question isn't even politically biased... I would venture to say in lue of something catostophic and unpredicted, this is a simple cause and effect question.

g: Im trying to establish a fact of the situation.... we could always go into a deeper analysis after establishing a fact... but it's always best to start from facts rather than pure rage/emotion.

When the Americans lose Iraq, they can go home and leave Iraq to pick up its shambles after Saddam and hundreds of thousands of other Iraqi graves have been dug and filled.

USA is the living devil on the planet. An unchecked mass murderer led by a buffoon.

THE ONLY APOLOGY I WANT TO HEAR IS REPUBLICANS APOLOGIZING FOR PLACING BUSH IN OFFICE.

You want people to answer a question that is not making sense. Republicans have a vested interest in keeping the "Iraqi War" going. There is no win or loss in this other than the loss of many, many soldiers over a LIE Bush made. If you noticed, Democrats took over Congress because the people want this LIE stopped.

Fix the question....

EDIT: Fine then, the answer to this "question" is obvious. This "war" is Bush's fault, and our country wouldn't be in this MESS if Bush, Cheney, and the Republican-controlled congress at the time wouldn't have LIED to the country about it. Since there are only two MAJOR political parties involved in the U.S., that only leaves Democrats. However, YOU are already stating this is a "win or lose" war, and it isn't when it is a Civil War. Did our own country win in a Civil War?

Wow!! You don't give anyone the opportunity to expand on their answer to your A or B selections, so I'll do it anyway.

B is my answer - Only because we are and have been losing in Iraq all along up to this point.

As for your question - did we win a civil war in our own country? - considering you're talking about 5 or 6 confederate states at that time, against pretty much 2 to 3 times of the rest of thoses states. Yes a civil war was won in this country.

Purple. Since neither A nor B are valid, why not go with purple.

Besides, the US cannot "lose" in Iraq any more than the US can "win" in Iraq. We're the only ones setting the goals and the standards, so we're the only ones can can decide what the outcome is. And nobody gains any political power if decide to call what we did a loss.

so... what you're saying is... you can't objectively look at the situation...

you have to turn it into a "black/white" "good/bad"... third grade mentality question...

so... you can't hold your own actually in a conversation?

B. is the answer... since you only want to talk in your terms and only using your words... you can't actually defend your actions any other way... clearly...

REPUBLICAN GOOD

EDIT: do you really have to establish that? sounds a lot like political posturing?

B.
If we come out of this with even a little bit of success the dims are going to look pretty damn petty and stupid.

its not about us its about them and their country. they need this civil war to move forward. we should have no part in this. you cant successfully learn to swim if you never take off your life vest.

C. Who knows?

We know cons don't deal with ambiguity well, but this time you'll have to suck it up.
