I am 15 years old and have a fairly good resume as far as stage lighting and stage managing goes. Where could I find professional theater jobs that would give me a possition on their crew?
(pay does not matter at this point)

At age 15, you cannot get a professional technical theatre job. You may want to look around at community theaters and do volunteer work.

The reason you cannot get a job is because of child labor laws and because, frankly, you do not have a high school degree. In fact, most professional technical theatre jobs require a COLLEGE degree and a few years of experience after college!

After you turn 16, it will be easier for you to find part-time work and some theaters offer internships to high schoolers.

I would agree wit hthe other two writers and think of interning at the Denver Center, but you should be concentrating on high school right now and working then on getting a BFA maybe from an accredited theater school that has a repertory theater company attached so you can garner more experience for your resume. School is far more important right now. You can not be a good techie without the background in literature, art, history, math and science you will need to understand the varieties of texts and art forms you will need to deal with. Believe me, everything, and I do mean everything you can study in school will come in handy. Also learn to read music and to play an instrument if you can. I would also suggest music history, theater history, art history and plain history courses. That background will be invaluable. Computer science, AutoCAD, PhotoShop etc. Learn everything you can get your hands on. The theater will be there when you get out and the more you know the more valuable and marketable and useful you will be when someone is hiring. Go for your Master's if you can. I am back after twenty years going for mine and regret not having gone for it twenty years ago. Stay in school
