Yes! I ask the fridge: What do you have in here? The dishwasher: Where did you put that? The dryer: Why didn't that get dry the first time around? The mixer: You aren't going to splatter me with batter this time are you? I talk to all of them I guess!!

Yea, if they don't do what I want them to do. I generally use all kinds of loving words like, "you peace of @#$%, what the @#$% is wrong with you!" Then after I punch and kick it a couple of times it seems to agree with me.
Do you take to your appliances like this? We have a love hate relationship. I love to hate'em when they don't do what I want.

I used to blame it, them breaking down, on them, but it became clear the day I fixed the coffee machine that, its way of responding was that, it was working.
So, I just clammed up, drank another cup of fresh ground Xpresso, and returned to yelling at my computer for lagging, while playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It uses way to much RAM.

Sure why not, they may run better if you tell them they have done a great job in the past. Or they may answer back, hey you never know. Have a Good Day.

Yes, mostly the toaster. It never seems to understand exactly what I want. I want my toast dark (it fails me) and my poptarts not dark (again, it fails me). Perhaps I should stop talking to it and start adjusting the dials.

I wish I could be so well mannered, I shout at them, swear at them, kick them, but I've never attempted to hold a civil conversation with them.

It's more like yelling of swear words or pleading with them to work!
