I think Kelly Clarkson was the best american idol and I forget who season five was. My sister said it's Taylor Hicks but if so it's Carrie Underwood by far. I wish Kathrine Mcphee would have won, oh well. Carrie Underwood is a good singer. Chris Dautrhy or however you spell his name was one of my favorites, too bad he didn't win.

Carrie Underwood definitely! She has gotten so successful from American Idol. For one thing, she's sold the most albums out of all of them, even Kelly Clarkson!

I like Fantasia, Clay Aiken, Carrie Underwood, and Kelly Clarkson. Season 6 is kind of depressing. The guys royally suck... except for Phil!

definite, they have been the two winners. Carrie gained season 4 and Taylor gained season 5. i admire American Idol! i think of the two Carrie and Taylor are gifted! My favourite music by technique of Carrie is "Jesus Take the Wheel" and by technique of Taylor "Do I Make You Proud". wish i could help. :-)
