There is a lot of evidence that claims that the pyramids were indeed built from top to bottom. Most people believe this because the oldest pieces of the pyramids are at the top, rather than the bottom. This could have been achieved in any number of ways. For example, the pyramids have ramps that lead in a square shape around the outer walls. This could mean that they used these ramps as a base, and worked their way down, and around.
Some people also believe that extraterrestrials built the pyramids from top to bottom with the use of advanced technology. They also believe that the pyramids were used by these aliens in order to house the deceased of their species, so that they could be easily located. They could have also used them as a sort of landmark for navigation, as they are built exactly in accordance with the northern and southern poles.
There are a lot of theories to this, but ultimately, it's hard to tell, as maybe the parts at the top have simply been impacted by weather more than the bottom. You can never rule out extraterrestrials either, though, as there are many ancient writings on walls that depict alien life. Some also believe that the aliens forced humans to build the pyramids for them, which could help explain some of this as well. At the end of the day, all you can do is read into it and draw your own conclusions, and never rule anything out. Anything is possible.

Top down and inside out. You dont have to levitate, you dig and push. As you are slotting blocks into place. I m sure ppl are like but thats still impossible, because they had the weight above. Not if you dig then place outsidse stones, dig around slightly inside and use stones to push stones. The innermost stones are placed to hold the structure, and then its like pushing shopping carts. Sleds and wet surfaces are in existence, but what isnt found is an ansolutely massive ramp, which would need to be bigger than the pyramids. Also keep in mind these pyramids are tombs not a solid structure.

The reason they say from the top down is because the pyramids are actually underground....so they are actually built from the top down...get it?

Methinks bottom up, due to gravity and the sheer weight of the things.

Unless levitation was mastered, I'd say bottom to top.

That's just about the silliest question asked so far. To build from the top down is to defy the laws of physics-something which the ancient Egyptians did not have the technology to do.
Duh.

They were actually built from the center-out. They were constructed by the Masons a long, long time ago.
