The ones I have bought before, you cut out the phrase and rubbed it onto the paper but these arent rubbing off. How do i transfer them?

In addition to the above answer, you can use brads, eyelets, ribbons, stickers or many other things to hold them down. Be creative.

I've done the same thing. I bought a book of quotes thinking I could rub them onto wood to make signs, but they weren't rub ons. Live 'n learn. :)

Then they are not the kind you rub on. You are supposed to use vellum tape to tape them down. I like to tape them over a pretty piece of paper, that way you can see the pattern through the vellum. The vellum tape comes out clear, so you can't see it. You have to buy it at a specialty shop or at hobby lobby, someplace with a wide selection of scrapbooking supplies. It should be near the regular scrapbook tapes.

If you have a Xyron machine, run the whole sheet through to apply adhesive on the back. Cut out the quote you want to use and peel the paper off the back and apply. Leave the others on the sheet until you want to use them, and cut them out as needed.
