I suppose one cig a day might be beneficial although I am not a physician. And I know people who like to take a shot of brandy in the morning before breakfast. Notice I said one shot. Its more medicinal than anything else. And I suppose that the cigs could often be skipped now and then.
I haven't had a cig since 1978 Thank-You Jesus, Hallelujah. It can become a most disgusting habit. As for the booze I can live without it, although a little wine or beer(notice I said a little - than means one or two small glasses) aids in digestion. But I don't recommend it to people who have had problems with alcohol in the past. You know if you do.
