please, help me, i just wanna know. just curious. Because whenever there is petrified, the spiders come out. But why???

It is because the spiders are all over Hogwarts, and they are terribly afraid of the basilisk. So when someone gets petrified, the basilisk was near, so the spiders are just trying to get away from it.

well it says on that little paper hermione wrote PIPES on that spiders FLEE before the basalisk ( the huge snake) so they are merely trying to run away, also if you pay attention to hagrid he has dead roosters in his hand a couple of time in the movie, which is also explained by the paper, the only thing that can harm the basalisk is a roosters crow, so just listen to harry when he reads the paper and u might catch onto some key points of the story....

bcoz spiders r scared of d basilisk ,the snakedats y dey leave the place aftr the petrification n go to Aragog the chief spider in the forest
