Maybe. They've been having talks and establishing more day-to-day links. But don't hold your breath. Problem is, these days, that even if two governments start getting together and try to solve some outstanding problems, it only takes a few crazies or zealots to turn the cart over.

I don't think so . There are many reason for it.
-Incidents like the recent "Sakha Express" are the main hurdle.Any bomb blast in India and they will blame Pakistan for it.Wouldn't it effect the relationships?
-Kashmir has been the the bone of contrary in the In do-Park relations.I don't think India will give away Kashmir so easily.
-The discrimination's in religion , a major cause for hostile behavior of these two countries against each other.
-Many Pakistanis won't accept India because of the 1971 war which led to the seperation of East Pakistan.
-There are many unknown agencies which are trying to stop the formation of good relations between these countries.
-Both the countries being nuclear powers , there will always be sojme kind of fear that one will attack the other.
But let's hope that they establish good relations with each other.

The problem with dealing with this whole Middle East issue, is trying to look at it as lines or names on a map, the groups responsible for all the trouble are not so much "national" as cultural, they don't care if they get a host nation or it's civilians destroyed, but they do work for leaders/supporters that encourage them to attack other groups or nations. China's intrest in building oil pipelines, highways and railroads westward to the Middle East oilfields has a great deal to due with all teh unrest and troubles along this projected route. All just a innocent coincidence, I'm sure.
