I'd go back to 1964 and then just stay probably so I could be around for all of the great music that came out back then. It would be cool to go to the 50s as well but that would be a bit to far back for me I'd definitly visit them though.

I would clandestinely travel from the past and future to set myself up as an immortal god-king in the America's just to see the faces on those silly lost Europeans when I bring lasery hellfire down on their ships. This would of course be just the first step in my conquest of the world during the age of exploration.
