It's about perpetuating the stereotype that Irish people love to drink and fight. But the show has some good music.

It's about four Irish American brothers who grow up in your typical Brooklyn type neighborhood as portrayed on TV. Now, all grown the main star Johnathan Tucker, is an artist who has a chance to use his artistic ability to go to college and get out of the neighborhood, unfortunately, he is also his brothers' keeper. When the youngest brother incurs a gambling debt that he can't pay, the people he owes the money to beats one of the brothers. As revenge, yet another brother kidnaps one of the thugs (mafia type figure's brother) and eventually kills him. This leads to the ongoing plot. Jonathan Tucker then chooses revenge and to stay with his brothers, he and the youngest brother kills the two heads of rival gangs and disposes of the bodies. And ofcourse there is a romantic intrest plot line for Jonathan, his childhood sweetheart. The two episodes that have already aired are available to view in full at nbc.com Over all, it is a good show with good actors, although the plot is overdone and seems more fit for older, more veteran actors. But kudos to Jonathan Tucker who makes the show!

Meet the Donnelly brothers: Tommy, Jimmy, Kevin and Sean. There is nothing these four Irish brothers wouldn't do to protect each other, and for them that means lying, cheating, stealing and, occasionally, calling the cops. Narrated by wannabe gangster Joey "Ice Cream," this gritty series bears witness to the Donnelly brothers' sudden involvement in organized crime, focusing on how they go from boys to mobsters, and showing how their new life affects their relationships with friends, family and lovers.

It's a really good show you should check it out!

It is definitely worth watching. Sorta like the Sopranos for those (like me) that don't have HBO.

Check it out!

Four Irish-American Brother that are gangsters living in NYC, I think Hells Kitchen to be exact,

After the pilot I have not watched it since, but they got into a dispute with a local mob captain or boss whacked most of the crew including their own Irish mob boss after one of the brothers got severely beaten. It all started when one of the brothers had huge gambling debts he and his brother kidnapped the brother in law of the mob boss in exchange for some $$$.
