I don't really want to measure with a ruler. I use a piece of elastic so that when I measure the elastic I stretch it out and get a "better" reading.

yes, a ruler is used. to measure yourself, you have to be aroused. then take the ruler and measure from the top to the tip. that should give you the measurments that you are looking for. 6 inches is the average according to those scientist that does research on those things.
