Windows Media Player does not work with the iPod. You have to use iTunes to transfer files to the iPods. Apple designed the iPod to only work with iTunes. You can get it from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download for free. It also comes with the drivers to make your computer recognize your iPod.

IS that even possible? The only thing other than I-tunes have gotten to work with my Ipod is Podzilla on Linux and it sucked.

I'm pretty sure you have to use iTunes to put music on your ipod and WMP won't do the trick.
