you can trace your mobile phone.the procedure is simple.file
a police complaint,get an fir.report to your service provider.
if somebody is using your mobile the imei number will be
displayed in the service providers computer thereby you can trace the thief.let it be any service provider

You should tell your operator immediately about your lost phone. The software for tracking phones is only available to the operators and the feds. However, there are software that can reset the IMEI of phones, so even if you have the IMEI, it may prove to be of no use.
