Crowne Plaza Suites

I like Embassy Suites...... on coit you go to the service road.. Travel through Forest Lane, Roya Lane, then Walnut Hill lane is next (Presby)...
Get to the Galleria then if traffic is bad on 635 go Alpha right up...

Depending on the time of day traffic is terrible on 635 (LBJ) and 75 (Central)..... (both can be parking lots)... Coit is great...
Really though.. it depends on the time that you travel on the roads..

I would recommend the Raddison at 6060 North Central Expressway which is right across from SMU and close to both Northpark and the hospital. There is also a Marriott Courtyard at 10325 North Central Expressway that would be a good location.
Northpark Mall is a lot better than the Galleria. There is no need to visit both as most of the stores are the same.

There are a number of decent hotels in the Galleria area. My personal favorite is the Westin.

Try the LaQuinta Inn in Addison, just North of the Galleria. It's quiet, safe, nice, and cheap too. And very close. But beware, they charge $10 extra per night for a refrigerator and microwave in your room, even though they advertised it as free on Expedia. That's why Expedia kicked them off their list of hotels. Dumb of them to charge that, when they advertise it as free. But Expedia took care of them...now they're paying the price for their stupidity. But it's still a nice place to stay. It's right near Dallas Cental Expy and Baseline Road. Kinda hard to find, follow directions exactly as described. Once you find it, it's easy. And they have a nice breakfast for free. It's really a nice place, too bad they cheated; I'm sure they lost a lot of business that way. But that's what happens when you cheat. Eventually you get caught and have to pay the price.

Travelocity can give you things near landmarks, zip codes and addresses. This way you get a selection.
