buying a home and confused about how much land is what i want. I want more then 0.5 acers and don't know how much that is, or how to figure it out Example ( 90x175 ) and ( 80x153x151x203 ) How do i figure out how much of an acre this is?

you figure it out by 90x175/43560= your % of an acre

There are 43560 square feet in an acre. So if you want half an acre you would want 21780 square feet. Assuming the units of the 90x175 are feet, this would be 15750 square feet which would be less than 1/2 acre. It would be 0.36 acres.

An acre is aprrox. 208.5' x 208.5'. It is 43520. square feet I believe. So a lot 90x175 would be .36 acres. When a dimension has more than two numbers, you really need to see the layout to figure the footage because it is oddly shaped.
