I thought the united states stand for keeping family to gather but now i don't beleave that they care about the people that live in there countries as they do the americans. it didn't matter that his kids where citizens and now there with no father a man they grew up with and ever since he got deported his kids as gone threw alot of depression. what can I do as a mother and a woman that loves this person she's been with for eleven and a half years.

I do love america.and I agree some immigrants need to be deported. but not when they are perminent resident and never had any criminal records. he was arrested for assult, which he was protecting himself. he was arrested but never serve time. He worked hard and took care of his family. so yes,it's not fare to his kids or to him. the kid never went on state never needed to,even his lawyer didn't understand why would they deport a man that was defending himself and never got in trouble by the law before,he payed taxes and took care of his kids and no I do not need anyone to feel sorry for me.because I am taking care of my kids and I do have a good job.but its not fare to his kids. It's not like he sold drugs or kill someone.alot of people don't know how it is for immigrants that are suppose to be hear so you shouldn't say go back to there countrie if they don't like it. because some of them do pay taxes and live right.and some do get killed and some suffer real bad when they return home

If the person was in this country illegally, then they deserve to be deported, especially if they committed a crime.
He is the one that did this to his family by being here illegally, don't blame our country.
His family can always join him in his own country.Sorry,I have no sympathy.

I'm sorry but your grammar is horrible and your sentences are incoherent.

1. What situation are you talking about? An immigrant in the US deported for a crime?
2. What was his first crime? Second crime? How many crimes did he commit and do you think it’s ok that a guest of a country commits multiple crimes?
3. Did he have a family that was left behind in the US? Why were they left there? Where was he deported to? Why was he only deported?
4. How were his kids citizens and not him? Is his wife American or naturalized American? Are you the wife?

If America is so bad, why don’t you leave? America is about family values and as a Canadian, I am happy they are our neighbours. If this person committed multiple crimes then they deserve to be deported because the US is not their country and the US has every right to do what they want with bad houseguests. Do not blame a country because this person (your husband?) committed crimes. It's his fault ... not the Americans.

The most important thing to remember: Canada and the US are lands of opportunities … not guarantees. It’s what you make of it!

That's the way the laws are written. And it's not just any crime -- it usually has to be a felony, or a drug-related crime, or a serious violent crime.
