YES! I hate them. They are making me sick.
It also undoes me when they say, "Thank you, John for that report".
It's their JOB! Why do they have to put on such a fake fluffy heart warming, lovey dovey facade for us.
All those helpful news tips they feed us that every child over 6 knows.
They must think we are dumber than dirt.

Newscasters are an embarrassment.
Several months ago, I was surfing the channels and I stopped briefly on one of the local news channels. The newscaster said, "Up next, why pancakes may be dangerous for you."

Consider the standpoint that Broadcasters have to deal with when on camera. - We are advised to report at a 5th grade communication level in order to avoid "talking over our audience's heads" and keep our reports interesting.
This attention-span has shortened many times since the 1950's Broadcasting years.
The media recognises this with it's presentation formats and adjusts accordingly to fit the media-mold.

Yep. I have afew of them out where I live, there was one that had a baby, and when she came back on she acted like she just knew everything there is to know about motherhood and everyone eles was dumb. They gave her air time to talk about parenting.

each now and then purely they merely opt for to be heard. at situations i can hearken to them talking, yet highly if one is being dismantled by somewhat ripping, roaring monster, their silent screams are more desirable than i can undergo. Spring is the following, and there is fairly some stretching and itching happening. ..

yah lol. funny u should say that. tonight i was watching the news and they were talking about this girl who cants stop sneezing. she said ....this girl sneezes up to 60 times a minutes...thats almost once a second!!! its like DUH we know what a minute consists of.. ugh
