i plan on watercooling my computer and i wanted to know if I was supposed to use the thermal paste on my computer's other components like my gpu or northbridge.
And if its not necessary would it be safe and improve conditions if I did use it?

I would also like to know what thermal paste is the best.
the best 1 i have found is located here

The three main parts of your computer that use thermal paste are your CPU, GPU, and Chipset.

Arctic Silver 5 is the best if you ask me.

Additionally, be careful when liquid cooling, the first time is extremely scary. Try not to get nervous and screw it up. Make sure everything is on firmly and I recommend sealing your tubes with silicone glue. Silicone wont crack or break off into your tubing. Make sure the glue will withstand a lot of heat.

Also, be sure to get a STRONG pump. When you are cooling so many things you need a stronger one to prevent slowing and heating. I also recommend getting a secondary radiator. Especially if you are cooling a high end graphics card like the GeForce 8800.

Good luck, hope you get it all together nicely.
