Jergins hand lotion reminds me of my mother.
Old Spice and cigarettes reminds me of my father.
Corn bread reminds me of one of my grandmothers.
Grill smoke reminds me of the family hog roasts.

Certain women's fragrances. Some odors are used over and over again in different combinations to make new perfumes. So naturaly these will bring back memories. The other day I was at work and a lady walked by and I found myself following her scent because it reached a memory from when I was in fourth grade when I had a crush on this seventh grader whom I'd play boyfriend to and got babied by. It was totaly innocent. It brought some good memories and some bad. The best one being that I still could feel like that kid again given the right opportunity.

Oh yeah, I spent 17 days in the hospital after a blood clot, I used a certain perfume, now I can't even get close to it in the shops

The smell of cow manure reminds me of the farms I grew up around. No matter where I am, if I smell manure, I think of the mountains where I grew up. It sounds disgusting but it's the truth...

Yes, magic marker reminds me of grade school. The smell of paint remains me of when I was 5 and we moved from an apartment to our first house and alcohol reminds me of my hospital stay after I had my first child.

The smell of rum makes me think of my best friend's bachelor party when I got sick as a dog on rum.... makes me sick just to smell the stuff any more.... and that was a long time ago.
