basic wireless network question?

i was having issues with the 2nd puter but in the router settings i removed the password now both puters work--

i want a password though so---
this is how netgear has it set up
Security Encryption (WEP) Key
Passphrase: xxxxxxx generate
Key 1:
Key 2:
Key 3:
Key 4:

after i put a phrase in and hit genorate the 4 keys are filled in with random numbers and letters

i then hit apply

on the 2nd puter when it asks for password do i put in the phrase or the genorated random numbers n letters?

Use the "random numbers and letters". This is your WEP key. The passphrase is used to create the WEP key.
