Every time it is time to turn the clocks again, people get so upset. I don't understand why it is such a big deal. Please tell me why it upsets YOU so much.

Hi Speedy!

I'm 100% in favor of Daylight Saving Time, and I fully support the change to Second Sunday of March. In fact, I think Congress should have moved it back to the last Sunday of February!

Like you, I don't understand the opposition. Suppose you travel to a different time zone. You have to turn your clocks ahead or back then. Daylight Time is no different.

Moreover, the change happens on a Sunday morning, so if you don't feel like getting up, just roll over and go back to sleep for another hour!

My experience is that people only grumble in the spring when they lose an hour of sleep. I have never heard anyone complain when they get an extra hour of sleep in the fall. I kind of feel the same way. But I don't really care whether we're on daylight savings or standard time. I work too many hours either way.

Why? It makes no sense to change your clocks. Your body gets used to doing things at certain times and it upsets your inner clock to change it. I live in Alaska and we have 18 hours of daylite in the summer anyway. The gov. people claim the only reason they go with it is because the time diff. is an hour out of whack With the rest of the country if we don't change. The only Indian reservation in Alaska dosen't change their clocks? What ever> it dosen't seam to make any difference?

becauase it seems like we loose an hour, which means we have to get up an hour earlier than usual. And if you forget to set back your clock you can miss work and get yelled at by your boss or miss a test in school and have to serve detention.

cause in america were lazy and dont like to do anything, and like changing are clocks is enough but like waking up at like 11 even though its like 10 or theother way around in the fall when its like expect to wake at 10 and its like 9... then theres nothing to do for that hour!!!

Because it seems that we lose an hour, although we get the hour back in 6 months, it feels hard to give up an hour right now.

Because our bodies shouldn't have to keep adapting to some stupid time change that doesn't have any real benefits.
