Hair loss depends on a persons age & to an extent balding is heriditary, but the process of hair fall or loss can be slowed by following some simple measures, like :
-using a mild shampoo(don't go by T.V adds)
-use a separate hand towel to soak the water from your hair after bath.
-if possible don't keep very long hair in the summer months
- if your hairs are very dry use some oil maybe once or twice a week depending on the dryness.
-if your scalp is oily, then use a mild shampoo atleast 3 times a week.
hopefully this will help you...

Make a drink by blending bananas, honey, yogurt and low fat milk. This drink is rich in biotin and will help your hair to have strong roots. Ensure your diet is rich in Vitamin B6, zinc and saw palmetto. Use supplements if you cannot get enough from natural food sources.
Bend your head while you are shampooing and massage your scalp. This will increase blood circulation to the scalp.
Get rid of stress and this is most dangerous for your lovely hair.
Get sufficient sleep. Like a healthy body, healthy hair too needs a good night's sleep.

Try Rogaine. What that does it is makes your hair follicles hold on to the hair more instead of letting it fall out. If you are not experiencing male pattern baldness and you are having your hair fall out in random places it could be alopecia areata, which can be helped by cortisone shots in the scalp from a dermatologist.

Homeopathic remedies don't work. Your choices are basically minoxidil or Propecia, and it's possible that neither of them will work. Talk to a real doctor.
