Just in case you need the above translated, your fridge should be no cooler than 3 degrees 'C, no warmer than 8'

Almost all fridges will cycle between these temps. If not, see if you can change the thermostat setting.

I believe the temp should register at 35-38 degrees in order to keep food safely.

About 38 degF. You don't want to freeze the food. The freezer should be around 0 degF.
