If you look at all of our today's popular minority music(hip hop, r&b, rap) It's mostly all Africans. I'm suprised they are on T.V. and have so many awards for their singing. How did they develop such beautiful voices? I mean my great granddad would be upsete if he saw how far Africans have gone in American since his time. I mean even fifty years ago it would have been unthinkable to see the Africans shown so positive in the media. What a strange world. Has America gone soft? Has the slavery guilt really effected our world so much? I mean it was during my great great granddaddy's time.

Music has to have an audience, and usually the audience is made up of people who have a similar culture and can relate to that music. The reason why African American music is popular in America is because there is a large African-American population and they have made an impact on our culture. Therefore, most people can relate to this music in some way and can enjoy it. I lived in Europe for a while and I never heard any hip hop, r&b, rap, etc. That is probably because there aren't very many people of African origin living over there so if a European hears an r&b song, it probably just sounds foreign and weird. It really doesn't have anything to do with a certain race being better singers than any other race. I also didn't hear any country music in Europe because not many people over there live out in the country or understand the "country" culture.

Why? properly in certainty it rather is organic of their blood & to boot they are additionally large activities adult men! it rather is of their blood when you consider that some time past, ancestors & etc backgrounds to boot their physique are properly build; it is likewise stated many of their vocal selection can bypass very long & extreme no longer in basic terms via guidance. there are a number of diff. races large in many stuff too. merely that African-human beings are greater effective "particularly properly-known" for being entertainers/activities industry. that's no longer a racist actuality. Judging the awards & additionally daily information featuring them. besides the actuality that i'm no longer an African-American, until finally now i'm no longer able to locate to any extent further effective injury dancer, rapper, soul, hip-hop dancer (no no eminem tht's diff. coz he's been inspired ok) in certainty they only created the form. The entertainment international is so vast, in certainty they only hit some large spots in it... ain't Aggregating for them to be known international extensive.

You know what's funny? So many people talk about people making stereotypes and being racist on this site, but for this particular stereotype, I don't see anyone accusing anyone of being racist. Why is that? Just because this is positive doesn't make it any less of a stereotype. Is it me or do certain people hold a double standard here?

I have no clue, but my sister told me once. But I have a theory: Thei voices tend to be in a more deep range and are a little less harmonic. It's the opposite of the question, "Why are so many white people good at singing country?" It's because of our tones and ranges.

Singing is something that has been apart of their roots, passed down from generation to generation. It has only gotten better!
