What about it?
To delete without opening, click in the box preceding the sender then click delete.
If you open it, you can still scroll down and click delete.
If you mean bulk mail, and you don't want any of it, click the "check all" button, then click "delete."
The deleted box should empty in 30 days, but if you want, you can click the "empty" link next to the deleted box.

It would be nice if u could be alittle more specific. Usually there is a SENDER box at the top of your inbox where all the messages are displayed..(usually 25) when u click on this box all of the messages will be marked for deletion. Click on the delete and they will be gone....if you want to save SOME of them then just click on the marked box and the checkmark will disappear...I know of know other way to rid the inbox of OLD emails.

Just check mark the email you want to delete and there should be a delete button somewhere.

In IE6 or IE7,highlight message, then at top tool bar click on red X,then go to delete folder and empty by right clicking, then in pop up click yes to empty.
You should have told what E-mail program you use - Yahoo,Hot Mail excetra this would help to get a exact answer.
Hope this helps
