What sort of Brass Band?
Well if you mean the type i think you're asking about, you should broaden your question to Big Band, or Jazz Band.
The rest of the world considers a Brass Band as a Band of only Brass Instruments.
Cornet (Trumpet), Trombones, 3 Different Horns and Tubas.
These bands follow the British style of Brass Band, some of these bands are YBS Band, Black Dyke Mills and The band of the Royal Guards.

Just about anything from Glenn Miller---"In the Mood", "Moonlight Serenade", Chattanooga Choo-Choo"---it's all good. Wynton Marsalis has more current stuff. The Tower of Power horns did back up for many acts including Huey Lewis and The News. If you're looking for a current "Big Band" sound (although, in my opinion, "old school" rules this), try Harry Connick, Jr.
